near Alcorcón, Madrid (España)
Starting point is metro Joaquin Vilumbrales on line 10. It's in zone B1. The finish is at Principe Pio station in the centre.
This hike follows the most beautiful parks in the southwest of Madrid. From the north of Alcorcon we pass through La Fortuna, Cuatro Vientos, Aluche and Latina and through the San Isidro park we end up at the banks of the Manzanares. There we walk through the Madrid Rio park towards Principe Pio.

Parque de la Fortuna
At the entrance to the park near La Fortuna the park is called Parque de la Fortuna but officially the eastern part of the park seems to be called "Parque Lineal Arroyo Butarque".
Nevertheless, the Leganes Ayuntamiento doesn't seem to consider the western part of the park (along the Arroyo de la Canaleja) to be part of any park. As it is a huge park though I think the name Parque de la Fortuna is a correct name.
