Itinerary description
Hunua Ranges Regional Park - Hunua Falls Walk
Spectacular walk featuring the Hunua Falls and the Cossey Dam. This route leads you through dense woods with tree ferns and mighty Kauri trees. Although not a very long walk, the height differences and the steep climbs with stairs make the walk demanding.
For this route I followed the Cossey Gorge loop until Cossey Dam and then I returned following the Massay Track to the Hunua Falls.
