Itinerary description
Half day (we did it in the late afternoon) trail with spectacular views and along old stone paths. Some parts of the trail
Impressive stones, lots of different flowers (spring), and mountain view.
Almost no shadow (summer-hut recommended), but stunning views to mountains and sea!
Good shoes are needed and long trousers and as well best long sleeves (thorny plants) are recommended!
You will see old houses that have been restored, next to structures in ruins.
On the old trail part, we met only sheep and goats.
This trail is part of the Chania trail (shorter version): Apokoronas Trails 08 Contrasting Landscapes.

A lovely walk with views. Most of the walk is on tracks so you need to watch your feet. I wouldn't want to do it when the rocks are wet.
Only short road sections where we had to put our dog on the lead
