Itinerary description
Nice green place, better than sitting in the airport. Can be done if you have extra time and luggage with which you can walk comfortably (backpack).
This recording is from the way back, done at a strolling pace on an extremely hot day, 19Jul2022. The first half is the same in opposite direction:
Terminals C, B and A are in the same building. At the end of terminal A, follow the signs to the rental car parking building, which you will reach over an elevated walkway with glass walls. Then downstairs to the road level. There look for an area with trees and a signpost "Kathäuser...". There you are in the green, just 10 minutes from the central area of terminal ABC. Cross the bridge over the little stream. Then you can walk along this brook as far as you like, without crossing it until you arrive at a road with a traffic light about 20 minutes further (about half an hour in total, 1 hour with the return walk). There I turned back and did this recording. The first photo shows the way along the brook continuing further across the traffic light.
You will find pairs of benches every five minutes or less.
