Itinerary description
A summer hike through the southern portion of Frontenac Provincial Park. The group started at the parking lot near the park office, walked to the water/lake side of the park office and then followed the signage for Doe Lake. The trail is well marked, in good condition and had several numbered points of interest including an abandoned mine site.
The bugs weren't bad, the day was nice (humid) and we opted to add the Arab Gorge trail which is well worth seeing. Another nice day in a great park.

The Park Office is located on South Otter Lake and the trail starts behind the Park Office and runs alongside the lake for the first 20 minutes. The lake has some decent size to it and is larger than I thought.

No doe were spotted. We have seen quite a few in other areas of the park.

Doe Lake trail loops back to here and this is also the start of the Arab Gorge trail (an additional 1.5 km).
