Itinerary description
Physical.difficulty: 2/5 (a lot of ups and downs, sometimes on a steep, although not dangerous, terrain.
Technical difficulty: 1.5/5 because of a few points that are quite steep (there is a rope on the side to help).
Nice walk, almost all of it on trails.
Vegetation is a bit dense. Constantly ascending and descending. Nice views. One small part, about 5m long, right after the chapel of Agios Ioanis, is almost closed due to vegetation.
One the way to the chapel, follow the yellow white marks. On the way back, the red white marks (which also beocme yellow and white after a point).
Maybe it would be easier done in the reverse direction, as you would avoid descending on many relatively steep parts.
There is no water along the way.
Finally, my GPS did its magic, and a small part (from km 2.3 to aprox. 3.1, in the middle of the first part to Agios Ioannis) was recorded as a straight line. However, as there is no alternative to follow during that part, it is rather difficult to get lost. You can download the gpx file (as recorded from my watch with no gps interruption) from the following link.
