Itinerary description
A closed loop, done In late December, cloudy, with occasional sun appearing low in southern sky. The mountains have fresh snow starting about 100m above trail elevations. An active trail with plenty of dogs. Bicycles restricted. Large free parking lot at south end of Buntzen Lake.
Trail on the west side is hillier and a bit rougher than the east side. It follows an old powerline for awhile near its north end. Can extend this hike by continuing to Indian Arm (on Pacific Ocean) from the north end of Buntzen Lake. High country trails are accessible in summer or with snowshoes.

No technical requirements so straight forward and easy to go through. Better if you start this one in the morning!
