Itinerary description
Walk starts at Threlkeld car park. The car park is small and there’s an honesty box there, being early wins a space. The route heads up Doddick Fell then across to Sharp Edge. The path is easy to follow even in poor weather. You can cut Sharp Edge out and just head for the summit if time is short or the weathers bad. Then it’s a walk down Blease Fell, warning it does get quite steep on the descent so poles do come in handy. The route finishes back in the car park. The Horse and Farrier inn is just around the corner which does excellent food just keep an eye on the prices for alcoholic drinks.
