An old communication route with the rest of the country from Trongsa before the road connecting the west and the east was built.
Nice walk from the viewpoint to Trongsa to the entrance of the Dzong crossing the Mangde Chu River by a traditional reconstructed bridge.
A few meters further on they are building a hydroelectric power station, so I thought that this bridge will disappear in the future, but no, the guide says no, that here the dams are only meters and that it will not have an impact on the landscape, bridge included ... I have no reason not to believe it, but I miss it.
The viewpoint is on the road itself. Linear route, with quite slope but short. It is not very busy so near the river there are areas with high vegetation ... they are not gorse like here, anyway
