Way of communication of the monastery with Jakar, we believe that it is not very touristy.
We only met monks and a group of scientists, we spoke with a Portuguese, who were in workshop at the Forestry Institute. They had planted the path with cameras to record the animals in their habitat, as we left on YouTube, haha. Certainly they registered Red Pandas and 'special' Cats we do not know very well what he meant, but not leopards or tigers that say they abound at this point
The road climbs from the monastery at about 3600 m to 3800 m and then descends about 900 m in just over 4 km, runs from the top of the forest 'of the country'.
Good views of the Chumey and Bhumthang valleys.
The monastery is accessed by dirt track leaving the road in Gaytsa, the good thing about doing the trip with a guide and 4x4 is that they left us at the beginning of the routes to pick us up at the end, although the guide always accompanied us.
