Hike through paths of medium difficulty through the bamboo jungle, passing through tea plantations, a waterfall, a couple of villages, ending in a bath in a pool with thermal waters.
The contrast between some spectacular panoramas and the sections immersed in the dense bamboo jungle made the walk really enjoyable.
But the most interesting of this activity has been the demonstration of the various applications of bamboo to make utensils of daily life, carried out by the guide of Parntrek.
We only use that element to cook and have lunch.
Even the same water to drink extracted it from this plant.
And of course the walking sticks.
To make the meal the cook helped by the guide cooked in containers made with bamboo rice, nodles, vegetables and meat, and heated the water for tea.
The glasses, plates, chopsticks, soup ladle, straw to absorb, the rug, hats, and even some head ornaments were made by the guide on bamboo branches and leaves with a machete and a knife.
In conclusion, a unique and unforgettable experience, perhaps the most interesting one I have done in two weeks traveling through Thailand.

Een echte jungle tocht. Prachtig uitzicht.
