Itinerary description

Moving time: 5h 5 mins
Distance: 21,6 kms

The trail starts from Steno street at Apollonia, crosses Katavati and enters to the path that foes to Vathi. It passes the small chapel of Taxiarchis between the ruins and takes the inner path to Vathi that passes from the chapes of Agios Nikolaos with the beautiful view of the golf of Vathi. Time until Vathi with a normal pace and stops for photos, about 2h.
It crosses Vathi beach and moves uphill to reach to the ruins of the Megalogiannis Tower (about 20 to 25 mins from the beach). Then it takes again the inner path to arrive to the east side of the island at the beach of Platis Gialos (distance about 4 kms, time about 40 mins).
From there it follows the path to Apollonia (about 1h 45 mins).
The trail is well marked (as almost every trail in the island of Sifnos), rather easy and with beautiful landscapes.
