Itinerary description
Απολλωνία -Χρυσοπηγή - Γλυφό (Φάρος)
Moving time: 2h 5mins.
Easy trail, well marked moving downhill. Mostly on rocky terrain, without a lot of shadow. Dry landscape.
There are few chapels along the way.
I did not see any water spring.
Trail starts under the bridge in the center of Apollonia (next to Gerontopoulos pastry shop).
It follows the path that goes to Plati GIalos for about 4 kms and then turns left to continue for Chrisopigi.

The old monastery (1650) of Chrisopigi. The monastery is located on a peninsula bearing the same name and is the patron saint of the island.

One of the most beautiful beaches of the island. Trees for shadow, golden sand and crystal waters. The trail to the church of Chrisopigi starts at the end of the beach and one needs about 15 minutes to reach it.
