Itinerary description

A very scenic rocky point is accessible from the Jinshitandachuan (Golden Pebble Beach Big Bridge) parking area.

An interesting short side track from the mountain bike route along this coast (See Wikiloc track "Golden Pebble Beach to Kaifaqu along waterfront").

Parking, start of descending lane to Point

Some steep rough sections with sharp-edged cobbles. If with bicycle, better to walk it down the first part.

An ocean fishing location. However the lower rocks accessed by local fishermen look a bit dangerous! The battery construction probably dates to the 1905-1944 Japanese occupation of NE China. Alternatively it could be Russian, from the earlier Russo-Japanese war of 1903-04?

The country rock of this point is fine grained quartzite, fractured, with sharp edges. There is no walking path, fishermen scramble over the rocks. Go slowly and carefully.
