Itinerary description
A must do hike in New Caledonia. If you skip the 2 km/1 hr side track that we did, it's about 6.5 km hiking up from 150 m to 1000 m through pleasant forest. The view upon reaching the plateau will take your breath away. There is a 6 km loop hike at the top we didn't have time for but we did hike across to the viewpoint from which you can see the north coast of Grand Terre. Best hike we've done so far in this country
