Itinerary description
From hotel to peak. On the way back, I left the mountain route (stone way with stairs) at the signpost to Fawang Temple, Songyue Temple Pagoda and Songshan Academy. But this is a bad option for walking and at the end I didn't visit any of these sites. Plus I risked trying a shortcut that didn't work.
I walked this on 2019-04-18, staying in Dengfeng, which is a point of my 4-week China walk in 2019. That 2019 walk continues a walk I started 2018 in Wuhan. Both times I stayed in China about 1 month with a tourist visa. I hope my tracks inspire you to do your own road-walking project - on your own route or following my routes.
