Itinerary description
|
We visit Predjama Castle, built at the mouth of a spectacular cave, perched on a cliff. And we left the Karst region. Along a forest track made of dirt and well-packed gravel, we go up to the Hrusica pass, where we cross the remains of the walls of a Roman fortification. We went down a good asphalt road again towards the plain of Ljubljana, the capital of the country. From Vrhnika we have a bike path of almost twenty kilometers to reach the city center.
