Itinerary description
A beautiful solo ski de fond on sunset. Amazing surroundings and exquisite sceneries, u have Mount Sannine above u where u can see its several crosses. Zaarour and the slopes to the south, and below underneath u to the west, a sequence of mountain peaks, then Beirut and the Mediterranean sea. i chose a wrong timing, windy and chilly, and both doesnt fit for cross-country. Thats y i rated it difficult. Plus due to its steep slope’s angles, u will mount 250m in a distance of 1km. Its hard to ascend and descend in cross country ski. But if ur expert its doable and enjoyable, just pick a sunny day. otherwise snowshoeing is a better option.
