Today is the long stage. We have breakfast and start the route, first on a fast road and then on a less traveled road until we reach Kuala Kedah. Here we are going to ask if there are seats on the ferry that takes you to Langkawi, but there are none left so we continue our journey according to the initial plan which was to take it to Kuala Perlis.
And it's really a good decision since the approximately 44 Km that remain are on very secondary roads with little traffic, crossing some very authentic fishing villages around the river. We also do a good bit of track, more or less in good condition and during the journey we see three or four monitor lizards and a family of urons. The variants that Maps.me takes you through are truly amazing, as always bravo for Maps.me
