The start of the day is missing because in the rush to leave and say goodbye to my host, I forgot to activate Wikiloc in Abbotabad itself.
The road taken is a quality but mountainous road. So, it goes up quite a bit. On the other hand, there is relatively little traffic, which is pleasant compared to the main road in the plain.
Seeing a stranger on this road, the locals ask me if I am lost and the police are very worried. Well as usual. They try to discourage me from going to the waterfall “which is not great” according to them. Finally, a pair of police officers on motorbikes escort me to the Ombrella waterfall (the 2nd on the road because there is one on the way) and force me to take a room “for my safety” even though Pakistan is very safe…
The landscapes are magnificent: there is forest where pine trees grow which gives a very pleasant smell to the air.
