Last night we couldn't rest well. There was a lot of commotion in the hallway, people slamming doors and chopping non-stop. However, at 6:30 we began to wake up and at 7:30 our adventure began.

Leaving Prague is easy along a cycle path next to the Vltava river. But be careful, because after approximately 20 km, you have to cross a bridge that is not well indicated. For that reason, we have done 8km more (4 one way plus the 4 return…).

Then, the beloved Eurovelo 7 runs parallel to the river and, in turn, to the busy car road. In Stechovice, we stopped to buy bread and cheese and begin a long climb. We decided not to go where Eurovelo 7 tells us, since it is not well marked and makes unnecessary detours.

Once at the top, a gentle descent begins, with constant ups and downs until, suddenly, we find the road closed due to a car race. We have two options: either go back 6km and make a detour or venture along agricultural roads... So we take this second option, getting on and off the bike on numerous occasions or dragging it along impassable paths, crossing brambles and hundreds of nettles.

We manage to reach another road and return to the direction. We stop to eat an apple and a bar and continue to a supermarket to buy dinner.

We ended up sleeping in front of a beautiful lake, after 105km and 1250 of positive elevation gain. We are accompanied by the noise of the ducks and the jumping of the fish in the water. To end the day, we bought a pot of vegetables, but it turned out that they were vinegary. Quite a xou. We better go to sleep, tomorrow will be better, right?
