*Ideally continues my journey along the Eurovelo 9 which started in Gdansk, crossing the whole of Poland along the Vistula, ending the first part in Krakow. From here by train I arrived in Brno in rep. Czech and continued to Vienna along the eurovelo9*
This cycle path (ev9) which leads from the Baltic to the Adriatic Sea, in the Czech Republic is very well signposted with abundant signs on each intersection, 90% of it is on its own and finally completely paved.
Before leaving Brno we unfortunately only go to see "villa Tugendhat" externally since the internal visits have been sold out for months.
Then we take the EV9 which passes next to the Svitava river crossing the whole city.
In a few kilometers we are outside the centre, immersed in the Moravian countryside but with green and very pleasant landscapes always with the river next to it.
Continuing we decisively enter a wine-growing area, the surrounding hills are populated with vineyards and the landscape becomes even more beautiful.
We skirt the lake for a few km
Věstonická nádrž quite large and populated with tourists and campers, the view is truly very beautiful and relaxing.
A few more kilometers and we reach Mikulov with an imposing white castle and a sanctuary at the top of its hill. The historic center is dotted with wine bars and characteristic restaurants.
