Itinerary description
The largest and healthiest remaining ziggurat in the world is Cheghazanbil Ziggurat (Inverted Basket), which was built by Elamite king Untash Gal for the god Inshushinak around 1250 BC, 42 km southeast of the ancient city of Sush. This ziggurat measures 103 x 103 meters and is 52 x 5 meters high
The floor was built, of which 25 meters remain now.
In order to get to know the building better, I have included all the guide signs and explanations in the existing track.
It has an entrance door from all four sides and despite the destruction, the building has preserved its grandeur and shows the ancient civilization of ancient Iran to every viewer!
Before Chaghazanbil, in the nearby village, there are many eco-tourist accommodations for tourists!
I had a question
Be happy and victorious
