Itinerary description
Starting from 15 May bridge/26 July Corridor this walk circles the Nile north of Zamalek. On the east shore of the Nile you walk along the brand new 2021 promenade which is nicely sheltered from the traffic noise on the Corniche. Then you cross the Imbaba Bridge (the Blue Bridge) to Kit Kat and follow the western shore of the Nile passing house boats before returning to Zamalek.
It is an easy walk, but as always in not so pedestrian minded Cairo there are obstacles in the form of road works, debris and dangerous road crossings.
