Itinerary description
This walk reveals a complex history of one of the most beautiful and serene places in Zagreb: Rokov Perivoj. Its story reminds us of how Zagreb transformed from a small province into a modernist Central-European capital. Rokov perivoj is the finest architectural achievement that combines early 20th century urban villas and protected natural beauty. It was shaped by the presence of various artists for whom the villas were designed.
The walk further leads to Tuškanac, passing by the residency of the famous Croatian writer Miroslav Krleža. It meanders through Vladimir Nazor park and more secluded leafy areas until it comes full circle at the British Square.
