Sotetsu Line Yokohama Station
Sotetsu Line is a private railway line between Yokohama Station and Ebina Station, connected with Odakyu Line. It is one of the main commuter lines for Yokohama residents. Sotetsu Line exit is close to the main shopping areas of Nishiguchi.

Palnade Street Leading to Okano Park
Palnade Street is a narrow street stemming from the Sotetsu Joinus department store and it is easy to miss. It is filled with wide variety of stores for local people. Recently these shopping street is thriving thanks to duty-free shops. Walking along this street for 10 to 15 minutes you will find the park at your left side.

Yokohama is one of the major growing zones for roses. Okano Park is also noted for its roses though the rosebed is not that wide. You can find the rose beds near the swimming pool.

When I return to Yokohama Station I chose to cross Saiwai Bridge, a blue-colored bridge built in 1988. There is a shortcut from the main street leading to the bridge.
