Pedestrian tour from the Capitol building to Dupont Circle, passing under the imposing George Whasington Monument (the famous obelisk) and the Lincoln Memorial. We made this walk after a guided tour, which must be booked in advance, to the Capitol. We visit another interesting museum around the Mall.
