Nicknamed "Little Vienna", Sibiu has the reputation of being the most beautiful city in Romania, a well-deserved title, being hard not to be enchanted by this city with splendid baroque buildings. This tour is an idea of ​​exploring the passages, stairs, beautifully colored facades, which will help you discover the essence of the heritage of this city.

The route starts either at the Promenada mall, which has the largest parking lot in the city, the center being very crowded if you arrive by car or from the train station. After a short climb past the Church of the Ursulines to the Upper Town you reach the Great Square, surrounded by buildings in all styles this large medieval square is the soul of the city. If you have time, visit the city's most important palace and museum, Brukenthal. Continue through the narrow passage between the City Hall and the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and reach the Small Square. Pass by or climb for a great view of the squares in the Council Tower. Then, under the arches of the House of Arts, head over the Bridge of Lies and past the Luxembourg House to the small Huet Square. Don't miss the Stairs Passage that connects the Lower Town and especially the Gothic Church of St. Mary. Continue on Mitropoliei Street, which is guarded at one end by the Altemberger House, and at the other by the Orthodox Cathedral, where you can admire some beautiful murals. Through Astra Park and Nicolae Bălcescu Street, return to the city center from where you go to Schiller Square and then to the Citadel Street, which will allow you to discover the well-preserved towers and fortifications of the city. Pass by the Museum of Natural History and return to the starting point.

Supranumit "Mica Vienă", Sibiul are reputaţia de a fi cel mai frumos oraş din România, un titlu bine meritat, fiind greu să nu fii fermecat de acest oraş cu splendide clădiri în stil baroc. Acest tur este o idee de explorare a pasajelor, scărilor, faţadelor frumos colorate, care vă va ajuta să descoperiţi esenţa patrimoniului acestui oraş.

Traseul începe fie la mallul Promenada, care dispune de cea mai mare parcare din oraş, centrul fiind foarte aglomerat dacă sosiţi cu maşina sau de la gară. După o scurtă urcare pe lângă Biserica Ursulinelor spre Oraşul de Sus ajungeţi în Piaţa Mare, înconjurată de clădiri în toate stilurile această largă piaţă medievală este sufletul oraşului. Treceţi pe lângă sau urcaţi pentru o vedere superbă a pieţelor în Turnul Sfatului. Apoi pe sub arcadele de la Casa Artelor vă îndreptaţi peste Podul Minciunilor şi pe lângă Casa Luxembourg spre micuţa Piaţă Huet. Nu rataţi Pasajul Scărilor care face legătura cu Oraşul de Jos şi mai ales Biserca gotică Sfânta Maria. Continuaţi pe Strada Mitropoliei care este străjuită la un capăt de Casa Altemberger, iar în celălalt de Catedrala Ortodoxă, unde puteţi admira nişte superbe picturi murale. Prin Parcul Astra şi pe strada Nicolae Bălcescu reveniţi spre centrul oraşului de unde vă îndreptaţi spre Piaţa Schiller şi apoi spre Strada Cetăţii care vă va permite să descoperiţi turnurile şi fortificaţiile bine păstrate ale oraşului. Treceţi pe lângă Muzeul de Istorie Naturală reveniţi la punctul de plecare.
