Very nice and scenic route. We stayed in Benalauría and started the hike from there. We did encounter two closed gates and many dogs walking loose, but overall we enjoyed walking this route very much!
thanks for the comment , There should have been nly one padlocked gate , just wondered where the other one was. There is the one in the photo
The other one is down from the ridge where you cross the stream before beginning the climb to Benalauría. In your photos the gate is opened, but we found it closed and we had to untie some rope to open in and get past it. No other way around.
