Walk 7 - Explore Kritsa - Pergiolikia and Koukistres. Caution last time I tried this walk the path had crumbled.

Turn left out of the car park

Leave the car park via the lower exit and turn left.

Take the first left turn up a cobbled track

Take the first left turn up a cobbled track towards one of the oldest water sources in Kritsa. During renovations around the church, Agia Paraskevi, Saint Friday the water course was altered. Now the ground is boggy and the fountain is dry.

At the top of the steps go uphill a few paces then turn right up a steep narrow path.

Emerge at top of main street next to Rodanthi natural history museum and turn right.

Take the first left to go uphill

Emerge in an alley, turn left then after a few paces, turn right up broad steps

At a junction of paths keep ahead up steps

At the top turn left up more steps

At the top turn left up a few more steps. Pass beneath the church wall and date palm to continue along a flat path.

Pass potable fountain and go up steep slope rising to your left

Emerge on asphalt road and turn right

The shrine on the left is in thanks of surviving a bad car crash

Down steps on your right and continue ahead

V junction, take the left fork

T junction turn right and keep right ignoring steps on the right

After five steps down, bear left

After the last ruined house on the left, turn left

Zigzag down. Passing carob trees

Go to the left of the house at the bottom, join a path and turn right.

At a junction of paths turn right towards restored houses

You are now en route to the big church of Agios Georgios

At the end of the path turn left down cobbled path

Unless you haven't previously visited the church. Then come back to this downhill path

At the bottom turn right and continue to the car park
