Some data:
Sukhothai Historical Park (Thai: อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์สุโขทัย) gathers the archaeological remains of Sukhothai, capital of the kingdom of Sukhothai in the 13th and 14th centuries. It is located near modern-day northern Thailand. Sukhothai, capital of the province of the same name.
The city walls form a rectangle about 2 kilometers from east to west by 1.6 kilometers from north to south. There are 193 archaeological sites in 70 square kilometers of territory.1 There is a gate in the center of each wall. Inside, remains of the royal palace and 26 temples are preserved, the largest being Wat Mahathat.
Inside the walls:
Monument to King Ramkhamhaeng, right in the middle of the park, north of the palace.
The Royal Palace and Wat Mahathat ("Temple of the Great Relic"), in the center of the plan.
The Ramkhamhaeng National Museum is located to the east of the palace ruins. It displays a series of art objects donated by the citizens of Sukhothai or from the collection kept by the General Directorate of Fine Arts.
Traphang Ngon Wat ("Silver Monastery"), small island temple in an artificial lake to the west of Wat Mahathat.
Wat Si Sawai (also known as "Wat Sri Svāya"), a temple probably founded in the 12th century by the Khmer people as a tribute to Shivá.
Traphang Wat Tanga ("Lake of Gold in the Monastery"), now there is only one stupa in Sinhala style.
San Ta Pha Daeng, Hindu shrine (Prang) north of Wat Mahathat.
