First day of visit to this monumental city, capital of the Czech Republic, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
We begin our visit in the Jewish Quarter, where several synagogues are still preserved, most of them without much architectural interest, although they are interesting museums for those who want to know the history of this town and especially the tremendous vicissitudes that these lands suffered in the twentieth century. Yes, there is a synagogue that is quite interesting architecturally due to its antiquity (S Xlll and XlV) as well as its good state of conservation, it is the New Antigua Synagogue, also, to a lesser extent, the Spanish Synagogue is interesting for its architecture imitating the style Mudejar. There is a combined delivery to visit all the synagogues and the cemetery. Still quite expensive.
We will then visit the area of the historic center, where the famous Old Town Square is located, with its famous Town Hall Tower (which we climb to get good views), with its also famous Astronomical Clock, which every hour delights us with its doll show. We will also visit the nearby Church of Our Lady of Tyn, all baroque, more interesting from the outside than the inside.
We also went to visit the beautiful Charles Bridge and crossed the Vltava River to get closer and visit the Kafka Museum, interesting if you are a fan of this writer born in this city.
The rest of the afternoon will be spent wandering from here to there aimlessly, waiting for it to get dark to see how this beautiful and monumental city is illuminated.
