Itinerary description
Easy circular walk with spectacular views.
You can park your car near Tsesma. Last 500m of road to the starting point is dirt road. However, it is pretty good and does not require 4x4, at least when it is dry (we got here using Ford Fiesta and Toyota Aygo). You can enjoy beautiful views on all three Khalkidiki peninsulas while walking uphill to the chapel on a relatively steep slope. Physically, this is the hardest part of the route, but views are worth it. The gently descend from the chapel goes through olive groves and coniferous forest. Near 4.5-5 km from the start, there are some thickets of thorny bushes. You will need some stick to make your way through it if you follow the track exactly how it was recorded, but there is some bypass a bit higher than recorded track
