Itinerary description
Easy hike exploring the surroundings of Tournai via the 147m viewpoint of Mont-Saint-Aubert, and then following the river back to the 5 famous towers of Tournai city. We also explored this historic city a little further and visited the cathedral which is UNESCO World Heritage.
Picture on the grave is a detail is the ‘cimetière de poets’ at the church on top of Mont-Saint-Aubert.
This hike follows parts of a GR (don’t know which one) and we also came across some yellow shells of the Camino de Santiago.
