Ramon Casas (Barcelona, 1866-1932) was the son and grandson of Indians born in Torredembarra. The manor house was the family spent some summers of childhood and youth. I drew the Castle and the town beach just fifteen years.
Torredembarra befriended Pere Romeu, who co-founded "The Four Cats" and who would co-star with himself, the painting "Ramon Casas and Pere Romeu on a Tandem."
The family remained in contact with the city, until he sold the land (1929) and House (1935). Before his father was executor of the will of Antoni Roig, the founder of Trustees and schools. And his older sister had been in the jewellery inheritance.
