Itinerary description

This is a section of the Thredbo River walk from Thredbo to Dead Horse Gap. This initial section of the walk is along the river next to the golf course, there is a alternate return loop around the other side of the golf course.

We walked this short section after spending time on the top of the mountain as a break from the windy and cold conditions on the mountain. As a result we did not have enough time to do more of this walk, which we would have liked to do.

At this time of year there are numerous wild flowers out and the walk by the river was a delight.

BRIDGE

This bridge does not provide a return path to Thredbo, and is for access to some of the accommodation only. Still, it does give you a good view of the river.
