Itinerary description
This is the New Forrest Walk called Schatterford. You can buy the description of this walk in the New Forest Visitor Center. To find the starting place: drive from Lyndhurst direction Beaulieu. On this way, there is a Beaulieu train station and just before you arrive at the train station, there is a small parking lot at the right hand side. The walk is not signposted so, have a good map or GPS with you. Some parts of the walk go through fairly wet land. We enjoyed the walk very much.
