Itinerary description
The Mill Stream Valley is a huge complex area, and there are lots of places to walk that are all in close proximity. The trails along the stream are slightly more intimate that your average Danish cycle path and there are lots of birds, frogs, and other things to look at.
Once at the northern end of the area you are on Lake Furesoe and you can extend the walk as far as you want around this lake.
There is a ferry service that can also be used to travel in this area, see information in the photos.
The stream is used for canoeing etc. and you can hire canoes.
Note: Copenhagen is the European Green Capital 2014. Copenhagen Green is a guide to 100 green locations in greater Copenhagen. It is a great source for things to see and do in Copenhagen. See www.copenhagengreen.dk for all the information on the locations. There is a large format book, small guide books and also an ebook that contains information for all the locations.
