Itinerary description
We did this walk in a pretty random place about an hour north of Cairo. The idea was to get an impression of rural life in the Delta.
You start on the main Qalyub Rd in Taha Noub village and head west into the fields. You pass a variety of crops: Wheat, onion, strawberries, cabbage, bananas and friendly locals working the fields with their donkeys and mules. On some stretches you walk along stinky filthy canals filled with garbage. There were a few wild dogs but they were not aggressive.
