Itinerary description
Stanley Park is an easy walk with many places to just stand and stare. You will come away with a better understanding of BC history, and the extensive docks across the water will give a better understanding of central and west Canada's economy.
Plenty of cafes, shops and toilets on the loop. No steep climbs. Bikes and roller blades are on a segregated path and travel only anti clockwise around the loop.
Whale watching, sea planes and cruise ships indicate the economic importance of tourism to Canada's economy. Oh, by the way, all the locals are so friendly, offering to take photos, giving directions and warmly welcoming you to Vancouver / BC /Canada.
Love this place.
