Vank Church or "Amena Perkij" in the Esfahan Jolfa district. Its architecture is accepted as a model and its construction is based in St. Stephen's Church in Jolfa, Azerbaijan. Safavid Shah Abbas. Armenian "Vank" means "monastery". With golden ornament and the ceiling of the interior surface of the dome, with stories of the life of Jesus, the oil-paintings influenced by the Italian style and gilding according to the Persian style on the walls, are the most distinctive decorations of this church.
