If you're looking for walks, you're in Japan.
The “excessive” courtesy, such a different and remarkable cuisine, the ryokans, the onsens, the lines.
Japan, the cleanest and most structured country in the world with numerous, super clean and technologically brilliant toilets. You will never have had such clean private parts.
You have to queue at a bus stop to experience Japanese rigor. Public transportation is excellent.
Urban equipment for the blind is extremely sophisticated.
They don't seem to care about water, energy, global warming and consume a lot of plastic in all forms. We wonder if in Europe, we live on the same planet as them.
There are obviously the public baths and onsens that you will miss after the trip.
If you can, you should pay for some quality hotels, ryokans and onsens to discover this amazing Japan.

A fairly mundane little stroll. The trail was once again closed or not open after the winter. Quite quickly the path deteriorates and you have to turn around. The part before the bridge is not worth the detour. You are in the land of hot waters and onsens.
