Itinerary description

A beautiful lake called Lacu Rosu, was recently formed by mountain slides. It is located at the head of the extraordinary Cheile Bicazului canyon. Remains of trunks are seen on its surface. We have the possibility of taking a boat ride through its waters. It is a place with a lot of people and the path can be done perfectly with the family.
We leave from the Hotel Lacu Rosu, we have arrived early, and what better time at sunset to take a beautiful walk along the Lacu Rosu. We will follow the marks of the Red Cross, we have no loss if we follow them.
We are going through a beautiful forest that surrounds this beautiful lake. As you walk and look out you see images that surprise you. The remains of the logs that the lake swallowed.
We pass by the pier, where you can enjoy a boat ride. There are plenty of shops and beach bars where you can eat something.
We continue and see families as they also walk by the lake.
We reach the other end of the lake and cross the river on a footbridge. I see a crossroads with other paths, we continue always surrounding the lake. We stop when we reach a small rock, where we take some pictures. Suhardu Mic can be seen in the background, where we will climb tomorrow following this uhardu Mic route from Lacu Rosu in Cheile Bicazului .
We come across another bridge or footbridge, the river calms down and its green waters let us see its interior.
We see the small boats, in the middle of the lake surrounded by mountains.
We have a little surprise left to end our walk, which is to approach the Balcón de Piedra.
We stay for a while and return to the path that will take us to the beginning of our route. I hope you enjoy this walk.

Se trata de un paseo que se puede realizar en familia, ya que no hay apenas desnivel. Es una preciosidad pasear junto a este bello lago. Te vas parando en todos los sitios para disfrutar de la calma de sus aguas, de sus sonidos y sus colores.
