Itinerary description
A nice stroll around the Oskjuhlid (Öskjuhlíð) area. The area is a hill overlooking the Reykjavik Airport, that was built by the British army during WW2, and therefore has many traces of different war time buildings and bunkers. The view on top the hill is allso worh the hike. Just be careful during winter, the trail can get very slippery.
