Itinerary description
Tidal and estuary influences are in effect on this route. Start from the car park at the West end of 12th Ave. The trail leads down to the beach at the very and of the prom. follow the sea shore North and then East into the Necanicum Estuary. Ideal for bird and wildlife watching. Either follow the trail back the way you came, or come off the beach/estuary at the water treatment plant. Follow the road to 12th then head West to the car park....The trail is .84 mile each way and is part of the Seaside Hike & Bike Trail. Restrooms - At 12th Ave car park.
