Itinerary description
La balade débute à Roquefort, ancien castelnau du XIIème siècle situé à la confluence de l'Estampon et de la Douze. Après les arènes en bois classées aux monuments historiques, le marcheur s'engage dans un bois menant au moulin du Batan puis au site gallo-romain de Mouneyres, dans la commune voisine de Sarbazan.
Le retour direction Roquefort emmène le promeneur dans une zone rurale; puis ce dernier rejoint le point de départ en longeant l'Estampon.
The walk starts at Roquefort, an ancien castelnau of the XIIth century located at the confluence of the Estampon and the Douze rivers. After the wooden arenas classified as historical monuments, the walker enters a wood leading to the mill of Batan and the Gallo-Roman site of Mouneyres in the neighboring town of Sarbazan.
The return towards Roquefort takes the walker to a rural area and then along the Estampon river.
