Itinerary description
La forêt du Roi Albert, sur les hauteurs entre l'aéroport de St Hubert et Nassogne. On a vu beaucoup de traces de gros gibier dans la neige. Pour la gibier lui-même, il y avait plusieurs tronçonneuses en action et tout le monde était donc bien caché. Balade sur petites routes sans grandes vues, mais une fort belle forêt. Parking facile, possible en VTT. On a bu un verre au Fourneau St Michel, bar - restaurant toujours aussi typique et agréable. La longueur de la promenade peut facilement être modifiée.
King Albert's forest, in the Highlands between nassogne and St Hubert's airport. There were many game tracks in the snow, but because of lots of human presence, we did see any large game this time. Th forest is very nice and the walk is on a small road, not many open vieuws. The parking is easy and one can do it on mountain bike. The Fourneau St Michel restaurant is a pleasant place to have a meal or a drink. THe walk can easily be modified since there are many paths in the woods.
