Itinerary description
This trail is the circular, clockwise day walk of combining the partial and complete walking of both the Guarrie Trail and Beach Hopper Trail respectively, in the Cape Nature Rocherpan Nature Reserve.
The trails are sandy underfoot, but provides the walker with a good opportunity to experience both the pan and the beach that this reserve hosts of the Atlantic Ocean. Be sure to carry lots of drinking water, wear a hat and sunscreen and bring along some food to enjoy along the many places to stop along the trail. A swimming costume is a good idea if one can handle the cold ocean!
The trail is open at no additional charge to those who are staying at the reserve, alternatively, one can pay a conservation fee as a day visitor to enjoy the reserve and its trails.
