Itinerary description

Rebecca Spit forms the outer (eastern) boundary of Drew Harbour. From the tip of the spit, you can look over to Harriot Bay and from the eastern side of the spit there are wonderful views over Cortes Island to the rugged mainland mountains.

The trail is very accessible and there are many points along the way leading to gravel beaches sprinkled with driftwood. There are lots of great spots for a picnic. Pit toilets are conveniently located along the trail.

Sheltered Drew Harbour is popular for kayaking and there is a launch spot conveniently close to the main parking lot.

I would give this hike an American Volksports Association rating of 1 A.
