'Maria S.S. del Monte' Sanctuary
Italian version: Il Santuario dedicato alla Madonna del Monte sorge sul più antico borgo del paese. La chiesa, costruita nel 1738 per volontà del sacerdote benefattore Pietro Signorino, è sempre stata il centro della religiosità del popolo racalmutese. La lunga scalinata ed il campanile conferiscono al complesso grandiosità e bellezza. La Madonna del Monte è la Compatrona del paese. English version: The Sanctuary of the Madonna del Monte is situated on the oldest part of the town. The church, built in 1738 by the will of the priest benefactor Peter Signorino, has always been the centre of the religiosity of the racalmutese people. The long staircase and the tower give the complex grandeur and beauty. The Madonna del Monte is the patroness of the town.
